"Thanksgiving is a day to just drop everything and really think about being grateful for how fortunate we are. We gather with our family and friends to give thanks and express our gratitude for everything we have."
Welcome to The Sundance School!
At The Sundance School, every school day is a new adventure! When you walk through our halls and peek into our classrooms you will find joyful learners excited to engage in hands-on experiences with gifted educators who respect and value the whole child. A premier independent day school for children ages 2 years through 6th grade, Sundance is conveniently located just five minutes from the Watchung Circle and easily accessible from Routes 22 and 78. The Sundance School’s mission is to ignite within the hearts and minds of our students a passion to make the world a better place while inspiring them to become successful and lifelong learners. Established in 1977, Sundance has been helping children create, explore, and shine for over 40 years!
STEAM education at Sundance expands students’ academic endeavors and bodies of knowledge by ensuring that the arts and sciences are an integral part of the educational process. A student teacher ratio of 5:1, project-based learning, individualized instruction, Spanish and Mandarin classes, and a stimulating arts-integrated curriculum for every child are the foundation of Sundance’s dynamic, theme-based approach to education.
